Group visitors to Wellcome Collection are very welcome.
If you’re a group of ten or more, let us know you’re coming by calling on 020 7611 2222 or emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our galleries can take up to 30 students at a time. There must be one teacher or responsible adult for each ten students in your group.
Some of our exhibitions include sexual content and graphic images of surgery. They may be unsuitable for children under 14.
We have learning resources to help teachers prepare for a visit.
Joining a guided tour
We run free guided tours of our galleries at 11:45 and 14:45 every day except Monday. They last about 30 minutes and can accommodate 8–20 people.
We’ll need at least three weeks notice if your group would like to join one of the guided tours.
The best way to get to us with a group is by using public transport, as we don’t have parking for coaches. Buses, tubes and mainline railway stations are very close by.
When you arrive
Go to the Information Point on the ground floor when you arrive. It’s just inside the front door.
Inside the galleries
You can take photos in our permanent exhibition, ‘Medicine Man‘. Tripods aren’t permitted, however.
You can make sketches in our permanent exhibition but only with dry materials such as charcoal or pencils.
Places to eat
Wellcome Café is on the ground floor just past the Information Point. It’s great for drinks and snacks.
Wellcome Kitchen serves bigger meals than the café. You can book tables in advance.
